We support the artifacts that have been developed and produced by our staff. For artifacts containing Open Source RabbitMQ that were not developed or produced by us, support will be limited to the Open Source RabbitMQ binary within the artifact. Note that Open Source RabbitMQ is packaged differently in several Broadcom product families. Support for all available Broadcom Open Source RabbitMQ artifacts will require customers to have support agreements that cover the respective products.

Can I buy support for Open Source RabbitMQ without buying any other products or subscriptions?
Yes, and that support also includes a license for Tanzu RabbitMQ, which we strongly recommend. However, it’s up to you to use the Open Source RabbitMQ product or our enterprise edition.
Do I have to buy RabbitMQ OSS support separately from my Tanzu RabbitMQ license?
No, your Tanzu RabbitMQ license includes support for both the Tanzu RabbitMQ and the RabbitMQ distributions for the number of cores in your license.
What is the difference between Kafka and RabbitMQ?
In the past, RabbitMQ used only queues and Kafka streams. RabbitMQ has increased its functionality and now has both queue semantics and streams, whereas Kafka still only supports streams. Read more about RabbitMQ vs. Kafka.
